“Because of You”

A friend of mine told me that the song “Because of You” just released as a duet with Reba McIntire and Kelly Clarkson could have been written by me about my mother. Now that I have listened to it, well, yes, I see that it could. Although I cannot figure out exactly who the “you” is supposed to denote in the song. The video seems to imply that “you” means some hunky guy in a tuxedo who gave Kelly Clarkson a shiner. I don’t quite know. But I love Reba’s drag queeny makeup in the video!
