This is the e-mail I sent ipodjuice.com this evening and here is a photo of my 60GB 4th Generation iPod (which the helpful folks at the Apple Store insisted was dead and fit to bury) happily alive and charging up, all 6,664 songs and wonderful playlists intact. I gush. Gushing fits.
Okay, you folks are amazing. I loved the crap I got at the Apple Store about how my 4th generation iPod was pretty much dead having lived as long as expected (around 2 years). Oh, they could replace the battery for like a hundred fifty dollars, blah blah blah. Then I found ipodjuice.com. After initially ordering the wrong battery (dimwit) I got the right one and just now I replaced it. I was amazed how easy it was to open the iPod with your magical device obviously invented at Hogwarts School of iPod Technocrafty. I was a little upset that the ribbon cord thing came disconnected but I kept going. Your directions are indisputably perfect. Then I went to your support page for my iPod and found the video on how to reconnect the ribbon connector. Bless you for that. Then I closed up the iPod and pressed the button and VOILA, it came alive again. Everything is there. Thousands of songs (many more ridiculous than I a m willing to admit!). Now it is charging and I am so pleased. My heartfelt thanks. I’d bear your children if I weren’t a middle aged man. I will most happily place a link to you on my humble blog. I wish you all prosperity and robust health for years and years.
