I have been working on a Tumblr. blog for a while now and now I’m sharing it with you. It’s just mostly random images that amuse or impress me. Warning: there’s a lot of BLUE material on tumblr and so I take no responsibility for what you should come across should you click on any of the images I’ve reblogged to my tumblr blog. The images are mostly just images without my interference or blather. Enjoy, or don’t, that’s completely up to you. I have made a link over there on the right that takes you there. I know, it’s too large. I know. I’m not a techno-wunderkind. I’m just pissy old swishy me, trying to make my way in this weary world.

This past Saturday I paid a visit to Broadway with my old pal Jean visiting from Massachusetts. Yet, there’s always something on my mind, isn’t there. So surrepticiously sneak snaps of bystanders. This hale and hearty handsome hunk disappeared shortly after I captured him with my leering lens. Perhaps, as usual, he was only a figment of my vivid imagination.
This week I had my second visit with my fantastic podiatrist who has my feet on the road to recovery. Today I shall start my three-month therapy of Lamisil tablets once a day to treat my rancid toenail fungus. A friend told me it really works so I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying that I don’t suffer any awful side effects. My warts on my other foot have been zapped with lasers and I’ve been treating them with salicylic acid daily. At this week’s appointment, the doctor scraped away dead tissue and then froze them and applied some sort of acid and then bandaged them up. Apparently the laser machine is on the fritz so he couldn’t use that. This doctor is very good at distracting me from what is going on down by my toes by discussing films and theatre. I appreciate this. At one point he took out a felt pen and seemed to be marking something on the bottom of my foot. I didn’t think anything of it and it wasn’t until the next morning that I twisted my foot around so I could see that he had actually written words on the bandages. Ya gotta love this guy!
I have heard that up in New York and Connecticut someone has NAMED this storm. Um, it ain’t a hurricane, it’s a damn wondrous beautiful snow storm. Please don’t insult it (and me) by giving it some common old human name. Lord, it’s just a marketing trick of the weather industry to name a snow storm. CRIPES and CRIMENTEEZ! Anyway, I got my dad to take a photo of the Flaming Curmudgeon measuring the snow late this afternoon and I share that photo for your pre-Christmas entertainment. It is still snowing heavily at this point and is supposed to taper off overnight. However, we won’t be driving anywhere tomorrow. Most everything has already been canceled. I won’t be able to drive to Westchester to see my old pal Sally and her lovely family. But, another time. Here’s a link to all of today’s snowy pix.
Here I am all ready to help Paul with the preparations for the big Canton Halloween bash on Saturday. What a load of work! Paul is a master at preparing for this sort of thing — I could never do it. Everything came off without a hitch!
